The Designed for Athletes program is specifically designed to re-balance and re-align the musculoskeletal system by performing body-weight and mobility exercises based on Pilates and yoga principles. These methods include muscle-specific endurance exercises, static stretching and breath control - all of which are of great benefit to athletes who perform repetitive sport-specific movements that often lead to muscular imbalances and injury. Exercises are tailored to suit the personal requirements of either individuals or teams* and each program is created to further enhance existing sports training regimes;  it can be designed to serve as either a recovery or a conditioning program. Designed for Athletes forms part of and is a complement to sports training.
