DESIGNED FOR OLDER ADULTS
As the body ages, it is increasingly important to maintain a healthy and active life-style. Many studies reveal that roughly half of the physical and mental decline associated with ageing is due to the absence of physical activity. The Designed for Older Adults program incorporates simple cardiovascular, strength and flexibility exercises into a one-hour class specifically designed for individuals aged between 50 and 70 years. Participants are closely monitored to ensure they are practising safely and exercise modifications are given when needed.
