Designed for Movement strengthens, lengthens and evenly develops muscles in order to benefit and promote a balanced musculoskeletal state. Each session combines strength and flexibility training with postural alignment and breath control enabling participants to experience a complete mind-body workout. Some of the most effective conditioning and recovery techniques performed by professional dancers and athletes are incorporated into the session. The class format is predominately mat-based with a focus on moving well; the mechanics of engaging in physical activity is equally important as the physical activity itself.
